About

A twenty-something supernatural creature trapped in the body of a cute little girl, the owner of this blog is the Moon Goddess incarnate, the weaver of dreams, the seer to both past and future. She wields her golden bow and fires silver arrows of fire from her chariot made of silver as she sails the velvet night sky. While on earth in a mortal form, she revels in leisurely walks in the woods and takes delight in higher learning.

Working her way through this labyrinthine jungle of a civilization, she realizes the importance of money. This, despite the fact that she used to bear only contempt for that which has controlled mankind and made slaves out of kindly souls. Thus she works hard (but plays harder) to achieve her dreams one at a time: travel the world, write books, and build a farm somewhere far from the maddening urban life.

Trained in archaeology, she aspires to study the past in order to glean ancient wisdom to bring light to the present world while hoping for a bright, peaceful future. She is interested in lithics and glass when it comes to artifact analyses.

Guilty of intellectual promiscuity, she reads on many subjects but is mainly interested in languages, history, and social issues. She loves watching films with sense and abhors romance, romantic comedies, and horror.

She would have loved to learn how to play the electric guitar, the piano, the violin, the harmonica, and the flute. Unfortunately, her parents discouraged her when she was young and now she just listens to rock and classical music. She likes exploring music (mostly rock and ballads) from different countries. She likes going to classical music concerts. Linkin Park's 2013 concert in Manila is her first rock concert.

In her wildest delusions, she is the Cooking Master Girl. She loves to experiment when cooking and relies heavily on herbs and spices. She gets ideas from watching Iron Chef (original), and Iron Chef America.

Gifted in the languages of men, she acquired mastery of many languages and would like to use her knowledge as translator. She knows English, Filipino, Chinese (Mandarin), Spanish, and French. At present, she busies herself in learning Japanese all on her own. She refuses to take up language classes as her pride forbids her to, viewing this as a challenge she should prevail upon.

She currently works as a librarian, happily fulfilling one of her life goals.

She keeps this blog as a repository of her fleeting memories. Please feel free to look around.

With love,
The Sweet Melo Touch
